Ganura Hosts Bayzor Agrihills on a Farm Visit to Eastern Province

Ganura Food Products Ltd. recently hosted a field trip for our valued business partner, Bayzor Agrihills Trading, to the eastern province of Rwanda. The purpose of the visit was to allow Bayzor, represented by MD Haisam Abdelmoniem and COO Steven Mushaija, to directly observe our farming practices and interact with the dedicated farmers who cultivate our high-quality chia seeds.

Bayzor Agrihills expressed a strong interest in expanding their market for Rwandan chia seeds, and this field trip provided a valuable opportunity to assess the potential for increased production and supply chain efficiency.

During the visit, Haisam and Steven took the time to engage in open and honest conversations with the farmers. They addressed the concerns raised by the farmers, particularly regarding past experiences with other buyers. Bayzor emphasized their commitment to fair pricing, timely payments, and building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. They also reminded the farmers of their crucial role in overcoming the chia crisis in Rwanda in 2022, highlighting the positive impact of their hard work and dedication.

This field trip proved to be a valuable experience for both Ganura and Bayzor Agrihills Trading. It fostered stronger relationships with our farmers, built trust and confidence with our business partner, and reaffirmed our commitment to sustainable and ethical agricultural practices. We believe this collaboration will not only benefit our businesses but also contribute to the continued growth and success of the Rwandan chia seed industry.
